I was born in New York City in August of 1984. 21 years and many Ektachrome, Minolta and Mamiya cameras later, I earned by BFA in Photography at the School of Visual Arts.
My roots are in fine art portraiture, but I shifted to events and social documentary once I went digital in 2007. I'm a believer in the fantastic in the every day and dancing on the line between intrusion and polite observation.
There's enough anxiety in interacting with strangers. It's a damn good thing I have a camera to translate.
