This Week’s Theme
A friend called me out on posting on time, so you get a bonus day of adult stills. I hope you enjoyed this last week’s theme.
My time on set allowed me to walk away with some unusual and quick portraits. It taught me to work quickly and to be as invisible and silent as possible. Strangely, it training for my next string of assignments- production stills.
My first job was on the set of my partner’s film. From there, I landed assignments on shorts and pilots. It’s really important to be invisible and there’s this push to be everywhere at once to make sure I don’t miss anything. The hours are long and I am constantly moving, but I enjoy the freedom to photograph as I please.
So, this week, what goes on behind the scenes of TV and film. Less sexy, but still visually engaging.
Themes
I have a pretty diverse portfolio. In the span of a year I’ve shot product, stills and an editorial here and there. The sight of them on my harddrives overwhelms me once in a while.
I’ve decided to try to give a weekly “theme.” I’ll pull a photo a day form the same shoot or same genre, just to keep things consistent. I’m no planing on finding a way to bunch them together for search purposes as it would destroy the diaristic approach to all this.
It’s my hope that by November or so, I’ll have a new domain and a better way to display my work.
Ths week’s theme will be adult photo shoots. In 2009, I was hired to shoot production stills and formal shots for a budding spanking video production company.
I’ve been meaning to go back and repost the un-watermarked outtakes. There were a lot of enaging things that took place that I was able to catch.
I hope you enjoy looking at them as much I did shooting them.
